Description: A really beautiful Edwardian period (1901-1910) 14ct gold locket brooch of oval shape, with beaded rope border, set with two small rubies and a diamond in a floral spray design. The face of the brooch is decorated with an intricate rope design, with the stones set on a raised plateau. The reverse side has a photo or hair panel with glass. Length 3.2cm (1.1/4 inches) wide and 2.5cm (1 inch) high. In very good condition. Possibly of European manufacture.
