Description: Lovely English Edwardian mahogany fall front bureau/desk inlaid with satinwood on cabriole legs. The fall front of the desk has a pretty design as shown in the photo and all the draws and the top edges have satin and boxwood stringing. The desk fall front opens to reveal a small centre drawer with pidgeon holes on either side. The original green leather is still on the inside of the flap and it is supported by "automatic" slides that come out when the door is opened. The desk has two large drawers beneath the door. This is a very pretty desk and is small enough to fit almost anywhere. It is in great condition and was made ca 1905.
