3 Legenday Illustrated French Art Deco Advertising Sales Catalogues designed by Paul IRIBE for the wine company Nicholas and printed between 1930 and 1932 by the famous print house of DRAEGER. RARELY FOUND IN THIS NEAR MINT CONDITION.They are" Blanc et Rouge", "Blue Blanc Rouge" and "Rose et Noir" - a cover letter written on blue paper and sent to the client - Order Form with Return Envelope - A mini catalogue called "Les Six a Huit des Vins de France" explaining how to mix the drinks and what should be eaten with them. Also, A booklet of a modern dialogue with forward by COLETTE -(All in French) . Paul Iribe is one of the most important designers of the 20th Century. He designed the Jewelry for COCO CHANEL that Chanel has built it's entire jewelry business on. Iribe was one of the few French designers who was invited to Hollywood as an Film Art Director and Cecil B De Mille said he was the best Art Director he had ever worked with.

Blanc et Rouge printed in 1930 contains 10 black and white plates with humerous titles and on the opposite pages a short story about the situation going on in the picture. The example below says "Je'n'entend pas ce que je bois" I can not hear what I am drinking. The colors he chose for this edition were Red and White, the colors of wine.
"Rose et Noir" produced in 1931 contains 10 color plates plus an insert booklet called "Dialogue Moderne en trois Temps et Trois Cocktails" by Rene Benjamin ( A modern dialogue in three time and three cocktails). Shown in the gallery image and above is L'Ombre de la Liberte" (In the shadow of Liberty. Also a thumbnail below shows" Le Voyage Senitmental" at the American Bar. The images in this volume are wonderfully moody and evocative of the jazz age in America. This was inspired by the black qualities of the "Dangerous American Cocktail"
Bleu Blanc Rouge was produced in 1932 contains 1 B&W single print - 4 double page fold out designs in black and white and 1 color print. See an example of the double page below. The colors were inspired by the colors of the French Flag which during the end of his life became his preferred colors.
