Ad shows a man, showing a little gray at the temples, in a garden. He is kneeling, has a handful of carrots and a basket. A small boy and girl are carrying a basket of veggies to the DeSoto and it reads, Of all the De Soto cars ever built, 7 out of 10 are still running. Your family car is a patient Dobbin. Sits in the rain or fries in the sun waiting to take you from one job to the next. Meanwhile out in Detroit the DeSoto factory bulges with guns, bomber sections, aircraft parts nothing but war goods for our fighting men. In excellent condition.
