Rare white milk glass pressed glass jug, made by Davidson's Glass in the 1880s. It has the Lion and Crown mark underneath, which was discontinued in 1891. Very attractive item, with decoration of thistles and roses - quite ornate and very well detailed. Jug measures 12.2 cm high and 11.5 cm wide handle to spout (4.7/8 inches by 4.1/2 inches). Excellent condition - just one rough patch underneath the jug, which could be a shallow chip, or could be in the manufacture, since the rim is intact.
