Offering this 1850's (Civil War Era) daguerreotype of a young lady set in an ornate gold metal framing, protective glass covering. Other side has burgundy velvet with a nicely detailed design. Outside of case has beautiful raised designs front and back. Two original brass hinges, push button clasp. Good condition, one tiny chip off top edge of outside (see photo). A beautiful addition to your collection!
