Molded, frosted finish malachite COLOR glass "Turtle" powder box designed in 1930's by Curt Schlevogt of Gablonz. The turtle shell is the removable lid of the box. Paper label reads : Bohemia Glass, Made in Czechoslovakia. The type of the label indicates that this piece was made in 1950-80 period. Dimension : 8-1/2"L. Please be aware of FAKES!!!! For collectors there is a web page, where you can find more info about Schlevogt/Hoffmann glass including pictures/sizes of "originals" and "fakes" to compare.
