Cut Glass Bowls with Dividers

Set of 18 cut glass bowls. The design is flowers, leaves and stems all around the bowl. No chips or damage. These are odd dishes, I actually don't know what they are for exactly. The dividers do not connect and the bottom round is like a bowl inside of the bowl. It seems as though it would be nice to have carrots and celery sticks standing up in the sections with a dip inside. If anyone knows exactly what these bowls are for, please send me an email.
