This inkwell is very rare because of the cut glass base with pen tray. The inkwell fits exact and can be lifted in and out of the base. It is hand-blown and cut blue crystal with a faceted body and cut glass cover. It has hinged brass mounts in very good condition. Close inspection with a fingernail will find a flake and a light scratch on the bottom of the inkwell. Very nice for the age. No repairs or additions.
