Craftsman Hook Scraper Vintage Double Blade

Unavailable

This is a very nice hook blade type paint scraper marked "CRAFTSMAN NO. F42 PATENT NO. 3162947 U.S.A.". (Some of the cast lettering is behind the steel 2.5" wide scraper blade in the pictures).  This type scraper is very nicely designed, made mostly of steel or cast alloy metal, with a rubberized handle covering.  It is also designed for course or fine scraping.  There is a note in cast lettering as to how to mount the blade for the type of scraping you plan to use it for.  The blade is mounted for fine scraping in the photos.  It comes with 1 very good 2.5" wide scraper blades that fits snuggly into the hardwood section of the scraper. The blade locks in nicely, with one screw to hold it in place, plus the steel blade has two scraper blade contact points, or is reversible, and both contact point on the blade are in great shape. The scraper is 10" long overall, with most of it's original gray paint intact. A nice vintage paint scraper! Very nice quality!
