This is a quality made 12.5" long half hatchet marked "CRAFTSMAN" in a oval logo on the head. The blade has a nice sharp, 3.0" wide cutting edge. The hammer end is very good with only minor wear noted, with a nice tapered eight sided stem. The handle appears to be a newer replacement, in very good condition with the steel type wedge. The handle is nice, not cracked, nice finish. Overall condition is very good, with minor wear, some minor staining, dings and scratches. A top quality, very nice used Craftsman tool from the 1950's era!
