This is a nice clean hand brace, and it has a 10" sweep. It is marked "CRAFTSMAN-10 BB MADE IN U.S.A." on the arm leading to the head handle. The ratchet system works great. The chuck is in very good condition with a spring loaded double jaw inserts, designed to hold the tapered square ended auger bits. The head is ball bearing drive, capped with a nice hardwood end handle with a rosewood stain, and matching crank handle. The wood is in good++ condition with some wear on the clean lacquer finish, most all the stain is intact. The brace is in very good condition, with very little wear, most all original polished finish intact, very nice looking. We see no damage, rust or cracks in the handles or metal parts. In really good working condition, a very good user tool also. About 95% like new! A quality made brace, still in great shape, nice looking too!
