Probably Venetian glass, this European crackle glass jug has a ribbed applied handle. The glass is a very tight crackle (craquelle) and is basically a clear glass, with a slightly greyish tinge with a bit of black fleck (could be dirt!). Mouth blown, measures 13.5 cm high and the body is about 11 cm diameter not including the handle (5.3/8 inches by 4.3/8 inches). Excellent condition.
