Louis XV arched top walnut 19th century deux corps, cabinet,chest or cupboard from France has four doors with metal scrolled hardware, escutcheons and heavy side hinges with working locks on all four and one key to fit the 4. Recessed side panels give an attractive view from all sides. Hand carved floral and oyster carving on the upper header and lower scalloped apron as well as vertical carving between the two sets of doors upper and lower. Horizontal carving on each side above doors. The corners are raised and rounded with more decorative carving. Stands on short cabriole legs and escargot feet. Three compartments on upper right,two on left with large open compartment below for ample storage. Beautiful patina to the walnut with hand rubbed finish. Excellent condition. Measures 64H X 53L X 19D. Comes apart in two sections for ease in shipping.
