This is a wonderful porcelain jam jar or marmalade pot made by Sylvac, SylvaCeramics of Staffordshire England in a thatched cottage design called cottageware The cute cottage measures 5 inches high and is 3.75 inches in diameter. It has the original label and dates the piece to the 1950s. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A wonderful piece of a collectible style by a sought after manufacturer.
