This is a vintage printed head scarf, or perhaps a large handkerchief, made to commemorate the coronation in 1953 of Queen Elizabeth II, England. The scarf, which is made of fine, picot hemmed cotton lawn, is 17.75 inches square and features a wonderful full color design of crown, scepters and all the flags of the British Commonwealth of Nations at the time. The scarf is in excellent condition. A wonderful royal souvenir from an English collection of British Royal memorabilia we acquired recently.
