Vintage CorningWare Blue Cornflower 2 Liter Casserole. Corning Ware was first produced in 1957, it is made of a special material called Pyroceram, a crystalline ceramic that is made from glass.
This casserole is the Cornflower pattern and was the most popular pattern and longest pattern produced by Corning, discontinued in 1988.
It holds two liters, is 10 1/8" across including the handles by 8 1/2" and 2 1/2" deep. Both pieces are in excellent condition, no chips, bottom has some very faint use marks from being slid across the table. It would be a wonderful addition to your set! Shipping is less for combined purchases then the above quoted individual cost per item combined and will be adjusted after your order is placed. Please see our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern.
