Corning Ware White Flora Round Casserole Baking Dish with Original Glass Lid. Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! Corning is made of a special material called Pyroceram, this was invented in the late 1950's and is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago Corning Ware was purchased by a Chinese company, although they have offices in the USA the new Corning Ware is now made in China and is not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces. Newer pieces are marked Made in China and are made of a ceramic material. This pattern was made from 1995 to 1998 and is a solid white with an embossed Flora pattern, perfect to blend with many different pattern and is made of the original Corning pyroceram. It holds 2 quarts, is 11 1/2" across and about 3 1/2" deep. It is in excellent gently used clean, ready to use condition, no chips.
