Corning Ware Blue Cornflower 1 Quart Casserole with Lid Glass Cookware, Go Green. Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! This pattern was made by Corning Ware from 1958 to the 1988 and features a blue cornflower on white pattern, it is made of pyroceram. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is a special mixture of glass and crystalline ceramic that Corning Ware holds the patent on, it is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago Corning Ware was purchased by a Chinese company, although they have offices in the USA this line is now made in China and is not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces, newer pieces are marked Made in China and are made of a ceramic material. This casserole holds 1 quart, it is 9" by 2" deep and is in excellent gently used condition, no chips, clean and ready to use. It would be a wonderful addition to your set! Please see our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern! Shipping is less for combined purchases then the above quoted individual cost per item combined and will be adjusted after your order is placed.
