Beautiful textured antique soft pink and cream on this French 19th century carved wood cornice board or bed canopy. Carved ribbon and floral motif on both of the sides with a 6 inch return to the wall as well as both ends and center showing the same design. Upper intricate thick decorative carving in cream as well with matching below in smaller scale. The ceil de lite is made with four sections in the thick aged wood with large original screws to be adjustable in length from 43 inches long to 55 long. Wonderful over a main window or any size bed. The interior sturdy hardware has slots for hanging the cornice on the wall and below additional hardware for the curtain rods with 4 slots so that more than one fabric and color could be hung simultaneously such as one fabric stretching the full length and another or others with shorter panels.
