Corbys Whiskey When Do You Get New Car Ad 1946 This is a January 5, 1946 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Jas. Barclay and Co Ltd of Peoria Illinois. Ad shows 1898 man on horseback trying to direct traffic with cars, street cars etc. 1909 Autos became a convenience. Note these vintage cars. 1938 Super salesmanship sold only two million cars. 1946 there is a demand for 15 million new cars. Shows man seated looking at magazine, open bottle of Corbys, ice filled drink and it reads, When do you get your new car. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
