"Valencia" pattern dinner plate with Copeland/Late Spode mark. Impressed date codes for 1939 & 1940, #S/1248. Green grapes and blue leaves on a creamy white background, with basketweave border and scalloped rim. Measures 10.5"d. Some crazing and surface scratches; no chips or cracks to the pottery.
