Italian wooden wall console shelf or table C.1900 has been hand painted with antique cream background and black with rust brown veining to create a fabulous faux marble look on all sides. Heavy wood carved oyster motif center front with acanthus leaf carving either side. Decorative scalloped gilt carving surrounds the top with smaller solid trim at the bottom,missing a small section on either side at wall. Our restoration department will repair if desired for nominal fee. Originally hung by nailing into the back of the lower casement beneath and additional metal hangers on back have been added over the years. Minor nicks from wear to some of the trim work,otherwise excellent finish and sturdy. Measures 31.25L X 11.25D X 7.25H.
