Confederate Currency $50.00 Banknote, Counterfit,

$10.00
Quantity available: 1

This appears to be a counterfit $50.00 banknote for the Confederate States of America. We do not normally deal in old currency, but found these in a lot of merchandise from the estate of another antique dealer who also dealt in military memorabilia. After searching the internet for info, we have decided that this is a couterfit bill produced by the Union to be circulated and help to destabilize the Confederate treasury. The bill reads: Two years after the ratification of a treaty of peace between the Confederate States and the United States of America, the Confederate States of America will pay fifty dollars to the bearer on demand. Richmond, February 17, 1864. The bill is in excellent condition with no holes or tears.  There is no guarantee of authenticity on this item. It is sold as is and as presented.
