ReCrafters
Visit our Web Site Now!
ReCrafters offers antique and collectible
furniture with that "well cared for" look. Our goal is to
offer beautiful, affordable furniture that needs nothing other
than a place in your home or office to be displayed and enjoyed.
Each piece offered for sale is carefully inspected. We will
repair loose joints and damaged cosmetic or structural pieces
and expertly fabricate and replace missing cosmetic or structural
pieces. Old original finishes in good or salvageable condition
are either cleaned, rubbed or carefully refreshed. We want
to work to save as much of the originality of the furniture
as we possibly can, but at the same time provide a piece that
most people will be proud to own and display and that will
retain its antique value. We focus on furniture over 100 years
old that is in reasonably good condition for its age. However,
sometimes we find a piece we simply love but the finish is
unsalvageable. These are pieces that have the potential to
be beautiful again. This is antique furniture that has lost
most of its original beauty and charm, is no longer terribly
desirable in its present condition and consequently is worth
little compared to other similar but better cared for furniture.
We take these pieces and carefully and expertly restore them,
enhancing their value and investment potential and make them
useful again to be enjoyed and admired by present and future
generations. We specialize in American furniture from the
early to mid 1800's to the early 1900's in a variety of beautiful
woods. Our inventory includes dining tables, chests, dressers
and commodes, occasional tables of all sorts and sizes, chairs,
blanket chests, bookcases and desks as well as other accent
items and we are continually adding to the list. We take great
pride in the results of our labor. |
