Colliers Magazine Cover 1946 Soldier in Jeep. This is a February 2, 1946 Colliers Magazine cover in color.. Picture if by Wilson Cutler. Shows a man in a straw hat, bib overalls, red checked shirt and smoking a pipe, behind the wheel of a Jeep that is really racing. Chickens are flying everywhere. Soldier riding in front is holding onto his hat. Sigh on front of Jeep reads, Hello Johnny. Young boy in back is holding a sign that reads, Welcome Home Johnny. On the bumper in the front is the name, J J Jones Sr. Inside articles are Mountain Time by Bernard DeVoto In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
