Coiled art pottery wall pocket, OLD, medallion rose color & cobalt blue with a little bit of green make this a most unusual wall pocket. It has a Chinese mark, but I am not familiar with it, I do know this is done by a professional craftsman as the coils of clay are so precise & the pushed in (pinched) areas are very artistically done. It is old & has crazing & a couple of hairlines in the upper right area, but none of this detracts from the beauty & almost adds to the design. See photos & judge for yourself. There is some lime on the inside from use over the years, but would clean off with some scrubbing. Satisfaction is guaranteed. 7 3/4 x 3 1/2". Hole for hanging on wall has been hand cut. WONDERFUL item. I would guess the age of this is pre 1900
