This is a nice antique shoe last cobbler's shoe boot stand with three different size anvils that fit onto a taper tip end on the stand. None of the pieces are marked by the maker, but there is some marking on them. The main stand frame is marked "PAT'D DEC 23, 1890" in raised cast lettering. The anvils are marked with the numbers "6, 7, 9" the 6 is the smallest. The stand has cast areas for bolts or screws to be used to bolt it down to a work bench or table. The stand is in very good shape no damage or rust. As you can see in the pictures the two larger anvils have cracked off stock on the sides of the cast iron sides that fit onto the stand. The anvils will set on the taper fairly tightly with all three, but the two that are cracked, they wobble to some extent in a side to side motion, so some repairs to the iron to sturdy the two up a bit would be a good idea if you intend to use these larger size anvils. The anvils are in very good shape other than the the mentioned, no rust or other damage. The stand with no anvil on it measure 12" tall overall.
