Coaster Skate For Boys and Girls Ad 1926 this is a May 1926 advertisement. this is a nice black and white ad from Coaster Skate Co of Erie, Pennsylvania. Shows a boy skating on a coaster skate. You have to look at the picture for this one. It is hard to describe. The skates are regular roller skates. Then you have this long pole that has a seat and brakes. Swing the pole and forth to gain momentum while you are skating. Then when you are going fast enough, you put the pole between your legs and sit on the seat and coast. Pole has a wheel on the one end. Wonderful for down hill coasting. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 5 1/4 inches wide by 7 inches tall.
