Coal Miner's light, brass/copper, Shanklin Mfg, Springfield, USA, vintage,old

This is a very, very old miner's lantern for a miner's hat.  It has been welded in a couple places so I can't read everything that is on it....On the top, it says _____ Dropper, and has the following dates under that, Pat. 05-2-12, 5-26-14, 9-19-16, 11-2-20, 2-10-25, and 7-21-25.
On the bottom of the lantern it says Manufactured by Shanklin, Mfg, Springfield, Il, USA
Although this lantern has obviously been used (it does have a few dents and has obviously been welded a couple of times), this is a very unique, OLD miner's lantern, 3 1/2 inches tall, 2 inches round.......very, very cool
