Clock, Tall Case, English "Moon Phase" c.1770

To an English mod 18th century walnut long case clock. The movement is time and strike of 8 day duration. The dial signed by the maker "Thomas Hamlison Wrexham (England)" . The clock also has working seconds dial and a nonfunctioning a date of the month dial and a moon face wheel. The movement has been altered and could be a period replacement. The rich walnut case has a broken arch pediment with fretwork applied to cloth. The arch is supported by fluted columns having old gilt gesso capitals and bases. The shaped trunk door and base have central marquetry inlay with flowers and filigree. The clock is supported on bracket feet. All in all the clock is a rich looking example from the mid 18th century.
