Beautiful French 19th century silver plate vanity clock attached to a hinged jewelry box with original blue satin lining in grand condition.Delicate,ornate floral sprays and swags surround the little clock with tiny bead work trim and brass and matching blue flowers surrounding the face with brass hands. The attached jewelry box also in silver plate has a rose motif with the handle formed by the stem on the rose on the lid. Stands on four curved feet.The clock has a fast and slow adjustment,winds backwards and is a 24 hour clock ,running and keeping good time. Rose leaf designs on the back . Silver plate in wonderful condition on front of both but has worn to the brass in places on the back and sides of the clock. Nothing major just appears and an antique its age but could be re-silvered if desired. The front and lid look wonderful and this is the side that would be seen,a very interesting piece.Measures 11.5H X 8.5L X 3.75D.
