Clark-Feather Mfg. Automotive Puller or Spring Remover CF-65

Unavailable

This is a nice clean 8.3" long puller that has two parallel pulling tabs that are spring loaded, so when you push down on the handle the two puller tabs that are inside the double side rails, pull simultaneously. The width is adjustable as the two bolts are in slotted tracks that control the width, and the handle rods are flexible enough to move with the frame. The two flats on the main frame are 2.2" apart in the pictures, and can be adjusted about 1/2" smaller it appears. The inside of the two frame rails where the puller tabs are is 3/8" and the two tabs are just about the same size as far as width, but there is about 1/4" clearance in-between the puller tabs and the side of the rail in the other direction. This appears to be for a spring clip of some sort, as the tabs would spread the feature opened or to the outside of the frame as pressure is applied to the handle in the downward motion. The side of one main rail is marked "CLARK-FEATHER MFG. CO. FORT MORGAN COLO. MADE IN U.S.A. CF-65 PAT. NO. 2687568. An interesting patented tool!
