This 10.5 inch in diameter ironstone large dinnerplate or charger was designed by Clarice Cliff in the 1930s for Royal Staffordshire, Wilkinson, England. It is a wonderful rural landscape design with cows and farmer of hand colored on brown transferware center with green border and before her Bizarre period. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A neat piece from a very collectible designer.
