Civil War Document case, made of horsehide, one small pocket, and one large pocket on the inside of flap. On the backside has clips to fasten to belt or saddle, steel fasteners on front. Measures 11 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 3.5 inches for the depth. In good condition, shows signs of wear, but no holes or stains. This was brought in by a local, picked up in this area, we did not have a lot of civil war activity, only when Colonel Baylor chased the Union Officer Major Linde,Up to the Organ Mountains, where he surrendered without a fight, and was the only Officer cashiered for cowardice in the Civil War. I do not know if this bag is confederate, or union, as there are no markings on it. Thanks for shopping in the Land of Enchantment! FREE SHIPPING USA! REDUCED!
