Offered for sale is a beautifully decorated porcelain Chinese Export Famille Rose Punch Bowl circa 1775. This diminutive punch bowl was crafted during the Qianlong period of Chinese porcelain manufacture (1736 - 1795). In wonderful condition for its age, the bowl is beautifully decorated with a wave and inverted pine tree border on the exterior above alternating large and small floral sprigs. The interior of the bowl has a wave-like border along its rim, and a central floral sprig at its center. The porcelain "rings" beautifully, and there is no evidence of repair or restoration. This bowl measures 3 3/4" H x 7 7/8" Dia. It weighs just shy of 1 1/4 lbs. (All weight and dimension information is approximate, but as close as I can get to actual measurements.)
