Beautiful old Chinese Brass or Bronze enamel cloisonne open salt cellar with pepper shaker set. The pepper stacks on the the open salt. The blue enamel bottoms are marked with the old "China" mark and stand on a bronze ring. As you can see be the picture the design is floral in a field wire curly-cues filled with white enamel. The screw cap on the pepper has a lovely dark patina. The flange ring is slightly off center as there is a small downward bend in it. This is a charming and very old Chinese Export set.
