This is definately from the past. A chicken waterer, feeder that consists of a quart size jar with a checkered pattern that screws into a bakelite base. Tip it upside down after filling the jar and the liquid or feed runs into the bakelite screw on base. Stands 7.5 in. tall. The marbled look bakelite base measures 4.25 x 3.25 in.
