Check out this handsome Pennsylvania Sheraton period cherry chest of drawers. There is one deep overhanging drawer above 3 graduated drawers. All are hand-dovetailed and retain their original working locks. The brass key escutcheons and brass pulls are period appropriate replacements. Notice the reeded carvings on either side of the top drawer. The slender half columns repeat the reeding décor. The dresser rests on tall turned feet, which are nicely proportioned. The sides of the chest are recessed paneled. The finish is in excellent condition having a warm color and lovely patina.
