Pretty little pink floral butter pat made by Limoges Haviland, pattern no. CHF 739. The characteristic Charles Field Haviland "lifesaver" mark was adopted by Robert Haviland, grandson of Charles Haviland, who began his own company along with C. Parlon in 1941. This butter pat also is marked GDA and CHAUCE in green, and it is in excellent condition.
