SALE PENDING ON THIS ITEM, PLEASE EMAIL US FOR AVAILABILITY. Clean as a whistle this one is - we took this one right out of the house and its never been stored in a barn or wet basement, therefore never any rust or pitting - just a super nice unit. This one dates to early 1900 plus or minus a couple of years.
Center panel is easily removable with the 2 knobs pictured - this way you can still throw your logs into it without removing the whole panel - opening is 20" wide by 12 1/4" tall.
It is all cast iron, no cracks, dents or breaks. Has 4 screw holes to attach it to your existing fireplace frame. This unit does NOT have a damper. We have applied a couple of coats of protective "cast iron" colored spray paint over the original black which we sandblasted off. This one is ready to go = shipping estimate may be a little high, but our shipping charges are actual cost and no more - this actually should ship to the west coast for about $65 or so.
Note the raised Grecian torches and elements - this would work well in a Victorian or Arts and Crafts theme.
Sales to the lower 48 only. We gladly accept personal checks and Paypal. Your item will be packed carefully and shipped immediately upon cleared payment. 39 years of honest descriptions and fair prices = plenty of more pix and questions promptly answered.
