Cartoon Contest How They Saved The Hunter 1937 This is a November 1937cartoon. It is a nice black and white cartoon . It is an answer to a previous contest titled How They Saved The Hunter. At center left is the Problem and grouped around it are the three prize winning cartoons The problem in this contest was .a hunter has been butted off a high cliff by a mountain goat. Solution is there is construction going on at the bottom and the Hunter lands in the bucket of a big piece of equipment. Problem picture is signed by Darrell Porter. Solution picture is signed but the signature is to small for me to read. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the cartoon. this magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/8 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
