Cartoon Contest How They Saved Santa Claus 1937 This is a February 1937cartoon. It is a nice black and white cartoon . It is an answer to a previous contest titled How They Saved Santa Claus . At center left is the Problem and grouped around it are the three prize winning cartoons The problem in this contest was Santas reindeer become unhitched from the sleigh and they run off. The solution is, Santa uses the toys and hitches them to the sleigh, a toy elephant, rabbit dog, bird etc and continues on his journey.. Problem picture is not signed, solution picture is signed by Fowler. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the cartoon. this magazine tear sheet measures 8 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
