Cartoon by P Webb Flea Problem 1949 This is a September 1949 black and white hillbilly cartoon by P Webb. Grandpa is sitting on a log, scratching his head and his side. Dog sitting nearby is scratching his neck. Maw is standing with two sons watching. One son is carrying a bucket in each hand. caption reads, Seems like grandpa got twice as many fleas as Lightning this year, better give him the ole sheep dip first. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
