Lovely old lithograph card in color of a young lady depicting the plant 'The Thistle" The card is 2 3/8"wide x 4 inches long.

Below is the following inscription "Entered according to the Act of Congress in the year 1866, by John P Soule in the clerk's office of the district court for the district of Massachusetts.--ANIMATED FLOWERS-THE THISTLE Photo from the original drawing and published by J. P. Soules, Boston" Mr. Soules was a well-known photographer and artist of that era and was also well known for his photos of the great Boston fire.
