Carlton Humphrey Bogart Christmas Ornament

Unavailable
"Casablanca" is one of the most famous Humphrey Bogart films. On this nostalgic Christmas ornament, we see Bogie as he was in the role of Rick, an American refugee from Nazi-occupied Europe and owner of Rick's Cafe' Amer'icain. Rick's Cafe is the favorite haunt of other American refugees, who've gathered in Casablanca, hoping to obtain exit visas to Lisbon and then back to America. Bogie considered this role a personal triumph. It established him as a romantic star and brought him his first Academy Award nomination. This ornament was issued by Carlton to honor Bogart's 100th anniversary. The June 1999 issue of "Collector's Mart Magazine," page 36, included this ornament in an article called, 'Keep the Memories--Ornaments Offer a 3D history of our Lives."
