Beautifully engraved certificate from the California State Bank issued in 1986-1992. This historic document was printed by the Jeffries Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a "C" with a picture of the state of California on it. This item has the printed signatures of the Companys President (Eugene D. Bishop) and Secretary (Rodney A. Baker) and is over 9 years old. California State was a state chartered commercial bank operating 18 offices in Southern CA. It merged into First Security Corp in May 1998.
