The California Art Tile Company worked in Richmond California between they years 1923-1962. This Art Deco period tile can also be described as Beaux Arts with its swags and ribbons and medallion. It was meant to be used as a feature centered over the opening of a tiled fireplace. This tile was never installed and remains in excellent condition with crazing.
