Circa 1870-1880 Chinese Export Rose Canton Covered Dressing Jar 2 1/8" in height and 1 3/4" in diameter. Chinese Export dressing jars are made in usually five different sizes. We usually are able to find them in rose medallion and rose mandarin but rarely in rose canton. The difference is that in rose canton there are no people. This jar is decorated with roses and green plants, leaves and bushes with pink decorated flowers. Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
