Circa 1850-1870 Chinese export Rare Rose Canton Scalloped Pitcher Measuring 7" In height to the top of the Handle.. This form has become very hard to find in the past few years. I used to them in rose medallion and blue canton quite regularly. Apparently they have dried up. This one is in rose canton, very nicely decorated with green leaves, bright pink roses, butterflies and beautiful long tails on the colorful perched birds. Very Good Quality with no chips, cracks or restoration.
